Drawing. Siva and Parvati with their family under a tree on Mount Kailasa. The dissolute and androgynous figure of Siva is shown centrally as a naked ascetic with long, matted hair, enhanced by the crescent moon. He is given some drink, possibly a form of 'bhang' (an hallucinogenic drink made from cannabis), by Parvati. One of their sons, Karttikeya, feeds his peacock conveyance perched on the tree while the other, the elephant-headed Ganesha, is confortably seated before a spread of sweetmeats. Near him, Parvati's smiling lion and Siva's dignified bull Nandi can be seen relaxing Drawn on paper.
