Flask; silver; ovoid body; tapered sharply to flaring foot; fillet and torus mouldings; gradually tapered neck; mouth capped with quarter-round moulding with four concentric grooves; decoration in low relief on body: two pairs of symmetrically opposed rinceaux, six spirals in each, rise from two acanthus calyxes on the narrow foot; below the neck moulding: two pairs of birds and two groups of round fruit(?); within the framework of the rinceaux: fruit, leaves; grapes, birds, rabbits, goats, a grasshopper and a hare; within the main four medallions: Erote with basket of fruit; Erote on donkey with upturned basket of fruit; Erote in cloak seated on basket picking grapes with goat; Erote picking grapes with bowl, bird and fruit; wreath moulding at upper edge of the sculptured decoration of body.
