Description
Marble figure of a Nereid from the Nereid Monument, running to the left. She wears a long split chiton, which shows the left leg and thigh and a diploïdion. Beneath her feet is a large sea-shell. The left foot was worked in a separate piece, now wanting. The back of this figure is left rough and unfinished. Marble figure of a Nereid from the Nereid Monument. She is running, half turned to the left. She wears a long chiton and diploïdion. Her arms are extended to right and left, holding out her mantle. Marble figure of a Nereid from the Nereid Monument. She wears a long chiton, diploïdion and sandals. The left hand is extended, holding one edge of the mantle, which passes behind her back. A small fish is roughly indicated under her feet. Five marble columns from the Nereid Monument i) complete column, with capital and base ii) capital, lower 5 ft of the shaft, and base iii) capital and most of the upper part of the shaft iv) complete cast of a column v) capital (the baltei are left unfinished on the upper side of the volutes). Marble double egg and tongue moulding from the Nereid Monument. Three pieces in all, two of them being corner pieces with a palmette and inverted palmette at the angles.
