Clay tablet; chronicle of the reign of Nabonidus; this describes events from the succession of Nabonidus in 556BC until the 530s; it includes references to the Persian conquests of Media in 550BC and probably Lydia in 547BC; it stresses that Nabonidus was absent in Arabia for much of his reign, thereby interrupting performances of the annual spring festival at Babylon where the king's presence was crucial; 23+24 ll.
