Small pottery amphora in Plain White ware or variant, in the same shape as Black Slip or Bucchero fabrics; wheel-made; globular-ovoid body on a low conical (concave underneath); wide neck tapering inwards towards an angular, slightly everted rim; pair of opposing vertical handles with 'horns' or knobs on top; reddish-buff clay with small white inclusions: dull red-cream surface colour probably due to firing rather than a slip.
