Woman's ceremonial belt (hizam) made of silk. Red silk warp with double-sided weft-faced supplementary patterns; on one side predominantly in red and orange arranged in broad horizontal bands divided by narrow bands in white, green and blue. On other side orange sections are replaced by gold thread. Central section has gold thread on one side and orange silk thread on other side. Warp threads left loose at both ends immediately before the border. Belt is stamped in black ink with 'al-Arousse' the name of the manufacturer's workshop.
