Register 1949: Ceremonial club of yew wood and stone (steatite?), with human hair, inlaid with sea otter teeth and operculum shells. Bottom of handle has stylised Janus double face with owl on top. Top of club probably a Thunderbird with human hair. Curved tapering stone blade forms aggressive tongue of figure, and reverse is beak of bird. Nootka (Cook collection).
