The lid of a silver-gilt reliquary cross with niello inlay, engraved with the crucified figure of Christ and the hand of God. Christ wears a knee-length tunic and is unbearded. The hand of God issues from above the crucifix. The terminals of the cross are rounded and have two rounded protusions at each side. The suspension loop and the hinge for the back plate are both broken. Traces of gilding remain, particularly at the foot of the cross. Condition shots for 'Buried treasure' exhibition.
