Description
A broadside on the end of the French Revolutionary Wars, and the proclamation of Peace in London on 20 April 1802; with a coloured etching showing a street scene in front of the Royal Exchange, with a large group of people, and on horseback on the L the Lord Mayor flanked by the Mace Bearer and Sword Bearer of the City, in the centre the Richmond Herald, and the Windsor Herald, on the R the Lancaster Herald, accompanied by other officials and musicians and trumpeters, in the background people watching; with engraved inscriptions, and with letterpress title and text, including the proclamation of George III, and an account on the ceremony.
