Pentelic marble cylindrical monument with procession of Greek deities, in an archaizing style. Apollo leads one branch of the procession followed by Artemis, Leto (?) and Hera. Behind him are three women, probably nymphs. The other branch of the procession is led by Athena, followed by Herakles and a veiled woman, perhaps Hera or Aphrodite. Below the scene is a high relief bead-and-reel moulding. The top of the drum is dressed to receive an upper element. Perhaps originally a ceremonial altar, but later re-cut and used as a puteal.
