Copper-alloy applied brooch; back plate is complete and only a small fragment of the applied plate surviving with some indication of repoussé decoration in centre suggesting centre of raised cross with raised dot in each arm. Pin lug and most of pin catch survive, both attached through slits in back plate; separate fragments of copper-alloy pin and spring survive; textile remains.
