Description
Four tickets to the trial of William Lord Byron in 1765; one for the first and second day of the trial, two for the third day; the first three from the same plate, with decorative cartouche, coat of arms, bust of a crowned man at top centre, and inscribed "For the Tryal of William Lord Byron" within cartouche, and below "Ancaster Great Chamberlain". Printed in black, red, and green ink. The fourth from a different design, involving the same coat of arms, vignette of crowned man, and inscription in cartouche, with the addition of "Box". Printed in green ink.
