Description
Sketch-book containing architectural studies, including cathedrals, views and marine subjects, mostly in northern France, 1832 – 1837. On off-white wove paper throughout. With the bookplates of Ambrose and Edward J. Poynter and Charles Francis Bell. Graphite, some with pen and black ink, one with watercolour.
