Triptych; set in modern gilt metal frame; painted Limoges enamel on copper: Central panel: the Crucifixion; Right panel: the Virgin swooning in St John's arms, and the tomb with an angel holding Christ's body; .Left panel, the Flagellation. The design was drawn on a white preparation and covered with translucent enamels; grisaille and colours, spangles over foils on details such as haloes; details gilt. Counter-enamel opaque grey.
