Copper alloy animal-head brooch is cast hollow with the riveted back-plate bearing the remains of the pin attachments. The exterior is marked out into a lozenge grid, the roundels of which are decorated with a cast Gripping-Beast motif' derived elements resembling Broa style and ring-and-dot pattern. The heavy borders are incised with a geometric decoration and the embossed "ears" are covered with a step pattern. The "snout" is plain. The surface is partually tinned. The pin is missing. The impessions of the cloth from the casting process are visible at the back.The one is the pair to no. 115. the type is similar to the one of no. 85.
