'De ratione conscribendae historiae, ex graeco in latinum traductus...'; book by Lucianus of Samosata, translated by Willibald Pirckheimer, and printed by F Peypus in Nuremberg in 1515, with an ornamental title-page woodcut from c.1513 by Albrecht Dürer, showing Willibald Pirckheimer's coat of arms hold by two putti on the bottom, at each side columns, the left surmounted with a crane atop a philosopher's egg and the right with a satyr playing panpipes, the very right column supports a chain that includes a pomegranate, on the lower left a round portrait medallion. 1513 (1515) Woodcut and letterpress
