Gypsum wall panel; carved in low relief; the king, Sargon II, in a distinctive royal hat, facing right and holding a long staff, addresses an Assyrian officer who holds his right hand up while the left is on the pommel of his long dagger. The bearded man facing the king may be the crown prince, Sennacherib.
