Description
Core-formed glass alabastron.
Opaque yellow and opaque creamy-white trails, faintly translucent dark blue body and handles, with many wine-red streaks.
Broad, horizontal rim-disc with tool-marks on upper and under surfaces; tall neck, sloping shoulder, cylindrical body, rounded bottom. Two coiled knob-handles on sides, well below shoulder, each with depression facing upward. Sides of body somewhat bumpy and uneven.
Yellow and white intertwined spiral trails, plain at top and bottom, zigzag in broad band in middle. The yellow starts with a revolution round edge of lip, the white begins near bottom of neck, and both continue without breaks, the yellow ending above basal angle, the white just below it.
Core-formed; rim-disc and handles trailed on and tooled, the handles formed by drawing upward from a drop-on at bottom and folding inward over a tool to make the ring. Handles dropped on and coiled.
