Description
Core-formed glass alabastron.
Opaque light blue and opaque orange trails, opaque sealing-wax red body and handles.
Broad horizontal rim-disc, tool-marks on upper and under surfaces; short, cylindrical neck; round-angled shoulder; cylindrical body; rounded bottom. Below shoulder, two vertical ring-handles with knobbed tails.
Unmarvered mixed light blue and orange trails round edge of lip. Similar marvered trails dropped on at neck, wound, unbroken, to bottom, and combed throughout into zigzags, except for single straight revolutions at top and at bottom.
Core-formed; rim-disc and handles trailed on and tooled, the handles formed by drawing upward from a drop-on at bottom and folding inward over a tool to make the ring.
