Album of 170 proofs of wood-engravings, including touched annotated proofs, by Edward J Whymper to his 'Travels amongst the Great Andes of the Equator', London, 1892, after his own and other artists' designs, including William Heysham Overend and Joseph Wolf; half-bound in brown cloth and leather, with tooled gold decoration, lettered on spine: 'G. J. Pinwell. / Goldsmith's Works. / Engraved by / Dalziel / Brothers. / 1865.'
