This Book was made up at the time the engravings shown in it were done.' Half-bound in brown leather and gilt; lettering on spine reads 'Wood-Engravings by the Brothers Dalziel. XXVI. Sunday Magazine. Good Words. Good Words for the Young. Saint Paul's. 1869-70.'. The album includes approximately 1517 wood-engraved proofs made for periodicals. Please note that the numbering in this album is particularly unreliable. Duplicate numbers are differentiated with additional letters, (e.g. 101, 101a, etc.). While most of the wood-engravings are made after drawn designs, there are also many after photographs.
