Core-formed glass alabastron.
Opaque white trails; opaque body and handles, appearing black.
Thick layer of enamellike brownish weathering, but no iridescence.
Thickened, rounded rim above short, cylindrical neck; angular shoulder; cylindrical body, expanding slightly downward to basal angle; shallow, convex bottom. At shoulder two vertical ring-handles with tails.
Continuous opaque white spiral trail, partly marvered, forming a thick ring below basal angle and rising thence in thinner spirals covering body and neck, to end at rim. On body a series of closely-set vertical grooves which give the trailing the appearance of being combed into shallow, inverted festoons; on neck, unevenly-placed series of vertical depressions. On each handle two unmarvered vertical opaque white trails.
Core-formed; handles and decoration trailed; grooves tooled.
