Bronze ink-pot covered with niello, in which the decoration is inlaid in gilt and silver; hinged lid; round the body is a frieze of figures with scenes from the story of Telephos: (i) Herakles seated on a rock; (ii) the hind which suckled Telephos; (iii) a young man, perhaps Telephos; (iv) a woman, perhaps his wife Astyoche; this ink-pot was perhaps originally united with the ink-pot Silver 91.
