Pair of bough pots; porcelain; lobed shape and Rococo design with three panels framed by scrolls in relief on front; sunken top surrounded by raised shell-like scrollwork and with pierced holes and larger aperture; front painted in Kakiemon style with flowering plants growing from banded hedges and grass; left-hand panel with secretary bird; right-hand panel with serpent-like dragon confronting similar bird; panels outlined with gilt C-scrolls and reserved in scale-blue ground; marked.
