Lead alloy, hollow-cast pilgrim souvenir from the shrine of St Thomas Becket at Canterbury. It is in the form of a cylindrical ampulla decorated with vertical bands of alternately hatched and plain triangles. The ends bear scenes of Becket as Bishop and his martyrdom.
