J,9.458: Benefit ticket, "Hanover Square. For the Benefit of Sigr Mortellari, on Friday May 18th 1787, Venus & Adonis, A Cantata written by J. Giannini LLD the music entirely new, by Sigr Mortellari. Peculiary adapted to the voices of Sig Rubinelli Miss Mahon, and Mrs Billington with a full band and corusses, to begin at half past seven o'clock. Tickets 10/6 each to be had of Messrs Longman & Broderip, No.13, Haymarket"; in cartouche of palms and laurel, with putti playing violin and reading sheet music.
J,9.459: Concert ticket, "Willis's Rooms, Vocal Concert. Second Subscription / No.[82 / S Harrison C. Knyvett]", and at top "[The Earl of Exeter]"; decorated with clusters of musical instruments and irradiating woman's head. "W. Simpkins sculp". Printed in green ink.
