J,8.263: Ticket, at top in cartouche "Anniversary Meeting of the Charity Children", and below "Admit one person to a seat in the Cathedral Church of St Paul, on Thursday May 26th 1785, when a sermon will be preached by the Honble Right Revd Father in God James Lord Bishop of Ely before the Right Honble Thos Harley President", with list of Vice Presidents, Treasurers, and Stewards. J,8.264: Invitation/ticket, "Sir / Your company is desired to dine with the members of the Society for Promoting Religious Knowledge among the poor, at hte London Tavern, in Bishopsgate Street; on Thursday, the 16th of November 1780; dinner to be on table at half after three precisely.
