Description
Wood-carved relief representing the Holy Trinity (in a composition known as "Throne of Mercy", Gnadenstuhl) the canopy of which is composed of angels, two of whom blow trumpets; above, two angels holding a throne with a Gospel book and the Cross on it (a composition know as "The Prepated Throne", Hetoimasia), and two cherubim; below, the Sun and Moon, the Annunciation, St Francis of Assisi receiving the stigmata, St Bernardino of Siena preaching from a pulpit, and the matryrdom of St Sebastian.
