Bottle, pottery; pear-shaped, with a moulded shoulder and tall constricted neck with a torus moulding and slightly everted lip, standing on a splayed foot-ring. Painted in cobalt blue, viridian green and orange-red with black outlines. The body has cypress trees with forked tips set between symmetrical rose sprays and large incurving feathery blue leaves heightened with contrasting red and green with smaller stems of marguerites below. A meander band above the foot-ring. A more compressed version of the same design is repeated on the upper part of the neck above the torus moulding which has an undulating blue scroll. The lower neck with attenuated petal panels with bole red spines above a narrow cable band. A further band of cable ornament below the lip.
