Conch. Bronze-mounted conch-shell trumpet, with elaborate terminal made up of a makara spewing a scroll and above it a striding yali. Between the terminal and the exposed conch surface, the bronze mount is decorated with rows of nagas and kirttimukhas. The mount is attached to the shell by a thick layer of mastic. On the edge of the mount are diminutive figures of Nandi, Ganesha and a Siva linga.
