Mould-made pottery lamp with double-convex body, a well-defined base ring, an applied three-ribbed ring handle at the rear, and a long splayed nozzle with a blunt end and a curved tip. On the left side is a large spur-like lug. On each side of the nozzle top is a double ridge in high relief, joined by a transverse line near the wick-hole; each ridge terminates in a stylized bird's head near the two raised rims which surround the filling-hole.
