Mould-made plastic lamp in the form of an Pottery: African seated on a rectangular base, holding a miniature suspension lamp, the wick-hole of which forms that of the larger lamp. The filling-hole is pierced through the plain back of the plastic group, above a small lip. The handle of the miniature lamp has broken away. Coated after firing with a white substance; traces of pink paint (rose madder) survive over the white.
