No.1 of the 'American Enterprise', 1871, Second Edition (enlarged), with several wood-engravied illustrations by William James Linton and Henry Duff Linton, after William John Hennessy and Felix Octavius Carr Darley, over twelve pages; the title page with six images connected with Edwin Booth's Theatre in New York, arranged in two rows; at top centre Hamlet, surmounted Shakespeare's portrait, flanked by Othello at left and Iago at right, below at centre the theatre building, flanked by Cardinal Richelieu at left and Shylock at right, probably all portraits of the actor Edwin Booth in these roles, after Hennessy.
