Gouache painting on paper from an album of eighty-two paintings of Hindu deities. Four-armed, horse-headed Kalki, one of the avatar (incarnations) of Vi??u, stands in samabhanga on a low dais. In his upper right hand is the chakra (discus), in his upper left the shankha (conch), in his lower right is a sword and in his lower left a buckler.
