Catherine Daunt is the Hamish Parker Curator of Modern and Contemporary Graphic Art. She was the Project Curator for the British Museum exhibition The American Dream: pop to the present (2017) and co-author of the accompanying publication. She is currently researching the Alexander Walker bequest, a collection of around 270 modern and contemporary prints and drawings formerly owned by the film critic and author Alexander Walker (1930-2003) and acquired by the Museum in 2004.

Prior to joining the department in 2014 Catherine worked as Assistant Curator at the National Portrait Gallery (2008-11) and Assistant Exhibition Officer at Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery (2006-7). In 2015 she completed her PhD in art history at the University of Sussex. She previously studied Modern History at the University of Oxford (2001) and completed her MA at the University of Manchester (2005).
