Professor Dame Sarah Worthington DBE, QC (Hon), FBA
Sarah Worthington is the Downing Professor of the Laws of England at the University of Cambridge; a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge and Director of the Cambridge Private Law Centre. She's currently a member of the Board of Governors at the London Business School.
She was formerly Treasurer of the British Academy, Pro Director of the London School of Economics (LSE) and on its Council and Governing Body, a Council member of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), and a member of the Cambridge University Press Operating Board and Chair of its Audit Committee.
Before turning to law, she studied science and mathematics, and worked in medical research in Australia.
She was awarded a DBE in 2020.
