Meet the Trustees

Mark Pears has been Chief Executive of The William Pears Group since 1984. Family-owned, the Group's principal activities are real estate investment and development throughout the UK and Europe. In addition, the Group has offices and investments in the US, Germany, Denmark and New Zealand.

In 2000, he co-founded Telereal, the UK's largest property outsourcing company, notably managing the estates of BT, the Department for Work and Pensions, the DVLA and a portfolio of assets on behalf of Royal Mail.

He is Chairman of Talisman Global Asset Management, an international fund management company.

In 1992, he co-founded the Pears Foundation – one of the UK's largest grant-making foundations – and is currently a Trustee. 

Mark was awarded a CBE for Services to Business and to Charity in 2014.
