Maliheh Afnan

Born Haifa, Palestine, 1935

Afnan was born to Iranian parents in Palestine. She obtained an MA in Fine Arts from the Corcoran School of Art,Washington, DC, 1962, after having studied sociology at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. She continued her travels and worked in Kuwait, Lebanon, France and England, where she now lives. She has had twelve solo exhibitions and twenty-five group exhibitions around the world, and two retrospectives at England & Co., London, 2000 and 2006.
