The British Museum
Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery reopened in July 2006 after a £30 million Heritage Lottery funded restoration and redisplay, attracting more than 1.3 million visitors in the first three months. Integrated with Glasgow's own collection of Ancient Egyptian material is a long-term loan of some 84 items from the British Museum.
