Didcot Hoard
A long term loan to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
Supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the
Ashmolean has undertaken a major redevelopment with a new building
designed by architect Rick Mather. His design will double the
existing gallery space and create a dedicated Education Centre and
conservation facilities.
The new Ashmolean will feature innovative
displays of the collections including the British Museum’s
long-term loan of the Didcot Hoard to the new Money Gallery.
