Shakespeare: staging the world is part of the London 2012 Festival. This UK-wide festival will bring leading world artists together from 21 June 2012 – a chance for everyone to celebrate London 2012 through dance, music, theatre, visual arts, fashion, film and digital innovation. www.london2012.com/festival

Shakespeare: staging the world is part of the World Shakespeare Festival (April – November 2012), a celebration of Shakespeare as the world’s playwright, produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and supported by BP, in collaboration with leading UK and international arts organisations for the London 2012 Festival.

The British Museum is delighted to be working in close collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company on this exciting exhibition.
