Families

Come on a journey with your family, tracing what it means to be Celtic. The story unfolds in Britain and Europe across 2,500 years – from the Iron Age through the Roman Empire and medieval times, right up to today. Discover objects decorated with swirling patterns and fantastic animals, and find out how they were used for feasting, battles and dressing to impress!

Look out for the wild boars roaming through the exhibition, and uncover the hidden stories behind the objects. Find clues, ask questions and imagine yourselves in a Celtic world!

Plus come along to our free family events, including Celtic art and storytelling workshops for October half-term and creative play for under 5s.

Under 16s go free!
