Writing same-sex desire in the British Museum

In advance of LGBT History Month, Curator Richard Parkinson explores British Museum objects which tell the story of same-sex desire – from ancient Egypt and Babylon to modern times.
Followed by a poetry writing workshop with John McCullough in association with the Poetry Society and Arts Council England. Write a poem about LGBT history and enter it for the Write Queer London competition 2012. No experience necessary – just come for the talk, or stay and get creative.
