The Egyptologist F W Green travelled along the Nile in the first decade of the 20th century and made a number of important discoveries which were never published.
Using Green’s personal diaries which only recently came to light, Vivian Davies, former Keeper of Ancient Egypt and Sudan at the British Museum, will chart Green’s journeys, highlighting his discoveries and setting them in the context of current scholarship.
Followed by a reception.
