Reni Eddo-Lodge, award-winning journalist and author of Why I'm no longer talking to white people about race, is joined by British Museum Curator Chris Spring to discuss themes from her book, which asserts a powerful and provocative argument on the role that race and racism play in modern Britain.

As a Curator of the Sainsbury African galleries at the British Museum with responsibility for the development of collections of contemporary African Art, Chris Spring will bring perspectives on the integral role museums can play in bringing deeper understanding of the history of black cultural identity. With reference to these historical perspectives, Reni and Chris will discuss the importance of creating a wider and more honest discussion about race.

Presented in collaboration with Bloomsbury Publishing. Part of Black History Month 2017.
