This study day considers the range of Renaissance drawings, prints, ceramics and medals in the Museum’s collection.
Through lectures, gallery talks and a film, the study day will offer a window onto a world of far-ranging trade routes and international influence. Themes include Renaissance drawing workshop practice, Dürer in Venice on the eve of the Golden Age, Michelangelo as a draughtsman, the role of medals, and Renaissance and Reformation. Available to OU students and the public.
