Dürer's journey to the Netherlands
Find out about the journey made by artist Albrecht Dürer from
his native Nuremburg to the Netherlands in 1520–1521. On the way he
saw Charles V crowned Holy Roman Emperor in Aachen, met many
contemporary artists, and viewed Aztec (Mexica) treasure recently
brought back by Cortés.
