Temporary gallery closures

PLEASE NOTE: On Wednesday 8 November the north side of the building will be closed due to an official visit. This will include the entrance at the north of the Museum, the Members’ cloakroom and Rooms 24-27, 34, 66, 67 and 90-95. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure. Temporary exhibitions will remain open. The Museum will be open as normal on 9 November.

Objects normally on display within the gallery may be available for study by appointment via the Department of Asia Study Room. Please note that between 28th August – 20th September there will be no level access to Chinese Ceramics – Sir Percival David Collection (Room 95) and Korea (Room 67), during which time access will be via stairs only.
