Paul Hamlyn Library

The Paul Hamlyn Library is the Museum's public reference library.
It is open to all visitors. 

Saturday – Wednesday 10.00–17.30
Thursday 10.00–20.30
Friday 12.00–20.30

Central Library

The Central Library is a general reference library predominantly for Museum staff. It can be used by members of the public as a last resort library. Access is by appointment only. There is space for six readers.

Monday – Friday 10.00–17.00

As well as the main Museum libraries, each department has public research facilities including study rooms and, in most cases, a library.
