The Paul Hamlyn Library is the Museum's public reference
library.
It is open to all visitors.

Central Library
The Central Library is a general reference library predominantly
for Museum staff. It can be used by members of the public as a last
resort library. Access is by appointment only. There is space
for six readers.

Departmental libraries and study rooms
As well as the main Museum libraries, each department has public
research facilities including study rooms and, in most cases, a
library.
