A long standing partnership

local school children.
The digitisation centre
The British
Library set up an International Dunhuang Project (IDP) digitisation
centre at the Dunhuang Academy in April 2009 after a year of
training visits from digitisation staff to Dunhuang.
Internship programme
Two interns will be
coming for 5–6 months each later this year.
The first intern, Mr Zhao Liang, is due to arrive in London in
July. He will mainly be doing Photoshop image manipulation while
learning about the whole IDP workflow and digitisation process.
During his stay he will visit other cultural institutions in London
and the UK.
His colleague Mr Sheng Yanhai will arrive by the end of the
year.
